Grab your scuba gear and get ready for Vacation Bible School. Our theme for this year is a Deep Sea Adventure where we will explore the depth of Jesus’ love. The young divers who take part in VBS will learn for themselves that Jesus makes a life-changing, eternal difference in their lives. Wayne Henderson, a recipient of the prestigious National Heritage Award, is a musical legend known for both his lightning fast “pinch picking” guitar style and the beautiful guitars, mandolins and banjos he crafts in his shop in Rugby, Virginia. Helen White is respected as an old time fiddler and folk singer throughout Southwest Virginia and her native North Carolina, and is the founder and Executive Director of the Junior Appalachian Musicians Program (JAM), which introduces mountain children to their musical heritage.
