Acquire the Fire - Youth Retreat
Date: January 27 & 28, 2012

Ages: Grade 6 - Post Grad
Where: Richmond Coliseum
ATF (Acquire The Fire) is a highly
charged spiritual event, creating an
atmosphere that exceeds the bounds of
mediocrity, where extreme life changes
become a reality! This is a life
changing event no teen will want to
miss!
What to bring: Arrive on Friday with a
bag dinner, a sleeping bag, pillow,
Bible, clothes, toiletries, etc.
Saturday morning the church is providing
a grab and go breakfast. Students will
need money for lunch and dinner at
coliseum (food cannot be brought into
the coliseum.) For more information

2012 ESCAPE Retreat

Where: Eagle Eyrie Baptist Conference

We are excited about the plans for the
2012 ESCAPE on February 17-19, at Eagle
Eyrie in Lynchburg. Dr. James Diehl,
general superintendent emeriti of the
Church of the Nazarene, will be our
speaker for the weekend. Broken Pieces,
worship and praise team from the Spring
Creek Church, will be leading us in an
exciting time of music and worship. For

Massanutten Waterpark
Date: February 12, 2012
Cost: $19 per swimmer, $5 per observer
Time: 12:30 - 6:30pm
Ages: All ages are welcome
We will be returning to Massanutten
Waterpark this winter for an afternoon
of family fun to cure the cold
wintertime blues. If we have enough
interested parties we will pack up the
church bus for the trip over the
mountain for an afternoon of water fun!
(We will need to add a small fee anyone
riding the bus.) All children need to be
accompanied by a parent or guardian. We
will leave the church promptly at 12:30,
stop at McDonald’s for a quick
buy-your-own lunch, and arrive at the
water park by 2 PM. We will swim and
play until 6:00 then we will promptly
return to the church as close to 6:30 as

CREATION CUBS
We
are utilizing a service to help us know
who will and will not be attending
different events at Northridge. This
service also sends people reminder
emails about events they have signed up
for. Using this service will enable us
to better plan for attendance at events
and make sure we have enough
supplies/volunteers on hand for any
given event. It is very easy to use.

and then choose the event you would like
to attend. Click on sign up and fill out
the corresponding form. That is all it
